A very intense concert. It was very exciting to see how they search, find, sometimes not yet play round, reinvent themselves and reach such spectacular new heights as the “Psycho-Jam” in Tower for example. Ingvald is an incredibly versatile drummer and a real stroke of luck. He brings a very positive vibe.
Hey Martn, great to read your words. I wasnt sure yesterday if it is really you :) See you in Hamburg???
Surprised that Reine joined them on stage. Just with the mentioned songs propably?
Also United Debased
Really very exciting. I am very optimistic, considering Ingvald’s great drumming.

Really great pictures if a band in a great mood
I would like to mention that i have not been to any of those last concerts but enjoyed watching the tromso recording from the show before trondheim a lot. I even watched it twice. It surprised me musically and i liked the relaxed mood and interaction between the musicians a lot.

How different perceptions can be. I think that they have just reached new heights with “Ancient Astronauts” and “The Crucible”. And for instance songs like “Cold and Bored” or “Delusion” touch me like some of the great emotional songs of the 90s.
A great recording. Thank you for sharing. They seem very relaxed and into it. I find the arrangements of the new songs particularly impressive. Sentinels is very touching. The whole thing has a Grateful Dead spirit that does the sound a lot of good. Filigree drums and flowing, meandering structures. Very nice.
Oh great to see “Go to. California” was played again
Looks very interesting. I wonder how especially “Sentinels” and “Dank State” sounded non acoustic. And does anyone know what “Black as Night” is?

Oh yes, Kanaan was really a blast. Bought the new album, and really look forward to listening it today after work.
I just saw Ingvar yesterday performing with Kanaan, and now I am pretty sure he is the right new drummer in the band. He has incredible skills and the ability to withdraw at the right moments and to embed himself in the overall structure of the music. I am very much looking forward to the new direction Motorpsycho will take with him and can’t wait to see this new incarnation live :)
And I am also very curious if there will be live recordings from the Norway tour with Olaf Olsen. It is incredibly exciting to me how the music will sound with him on the drums.

Such a beautiful album… It reminds me in parts of CSNY, Nick Drake, Santana and such. It really grows on repeated listens. I am very happy about that sunny feeling…
