Considering the guys read this forum, it’s quite possible the more we interpret their lyrics, the less they feel like writing them down. Maybe they are cracking up right now.

On second read, I halfway agree. Especially him noticing that Jesus Lizard groove speaks for him and his homework.
I also think it’s one of their best sounding records. It’s roomy, especially on headphones I feel like sitting in their rehearsal room. The bass intro on Riding the Tiger, this is what a live bass sounds like when you’re sitting next to those 8×10 speaker cabinets. A true achievement to get this on record.
Also it’s great to be able to turn it up on headphones without getting tired ears, thanks to non-hot mastering. Nothing pitchy and screechy there, it’s warm and massive overall while not being simply and annoyingly LOUD for loudness sake. Tasty. Thank you.
aaaah finally got it. mighty fine record. these ol’ rockers still ROCK harder and wilder than ever!
the vocal arrangements still get better with every album. the groove/riff/singing arrangement in Cornucopia is tearjerking. and Snah goes all Jimmy Page in Whole Lotta Diana’s solo, yay! :MPD:
one criticism: waaaay to short! geez, a single vinyl MP album is just never enough for my spoiled little self.
that 11.10. swiss show is at the salzhaus in Winterthur, not in Zurich. it´s a mere 30 odd kilometers away.
checking in again, as nosey as i am. still travelling, so i still havent heard it yet. gaaaah. but i just wanted to share that i totally tripped a few days ago while on the bus from yangshuo to guilin (southern china) during sunset while listening to giftland, watersound and the golden core.
ah crap, and they just put on one of jackos “we can make this world a better place” songs in this internet cafe. creeeps. gotta go.
