I was there, too! Brilliant gig! That bass playing is just incredible (It's unnecessary to mention that Danny Carey is an alien!)
Really? My last MP gig was actually in 2017. Missed 2019 due to an illness.
Snah in the left side of the stage. Strange!
Yeah, I know about the database and found out 2018 after my comment. As one could say that you can cancel out two years with almost no gigs, it was actually recently. I just had the impression that I haven't heard it in years, while I have seen it somewhat regulary back in the days when me and the band were young.
First Plan #1 in a hundred years???
Had my hopes a bit higher after the first reviews, but can there be a more generic and unispired MP song than the first single?
When Lux Aeterna starts, I have to press skip!
I read Timothy's Monster in the review and now I hope it will be the first MP I am able to listen to more than maybe twice in years. The Tower is ok for me, but the last two albums??? They don't trigger my love for MP at all.
@the conscience: If you want to play around with numbers then at least don`t do it in the dumbest possible way. Of course you don't divide the Covid deaths by earths population, because that would imply that everyone on this planet was infected by the virus. The 2% death toll (I don't know if this number is correct, but that doesn't matter) ist the percentage of infected people that died. As there are loads of cases without symptoms that number ist probably a lot higher.
I'll miss live music as much as the next guy, but I will not attend a gig unless at least I am vaccinated.
@Devotional: That so called "report" has been debunked as a piece of nonsense of people who don't know what they are talking about by a lot of sources.
For a rather scientific answer (in german) see here: https://www.ag-evolutionsbiologie.net/html/2021/drosten-pcr-borger-corona-kreationismus.html
The biggest scandal in the history of mankind is maybe instead the amount of false and idiotic thinking that corona deniers and such present every day on Facebook and whereever.
@supernaut Sorry, but the best swiss band will always be Favez!
About the Bremen gigs:
The first show was indeed at the Wehrschloss, a club that hosted mainly punk, hardcore and noise bands. My flatmate did catering there at the time. It was my first MP show and I've been hooked since then.
Of the 12 Schlachthof gigs, I attended 10 and missed 2 due to illness. Once maybe in 2003 and for fuck's sake this year!
Sorry, haven't been here for a while. Glad somebody else helped out.
@spacebandit Did you tape the show?
I would be rather unsatisfied with Year 0 as last encore, but I know a lot of people like that song.
I can't at the moment as I am on holiday.
