Yes, it's confirmed they will be in studio with Trondheim Jazz Orchestra and Ståle Storløkken this month to record some stuff.
But they haven't started yet, because today and tomorrow they're playing Helsinki and Tampere!
Have fun tomorrow and the day after, Finnish psychonauts!
Nice recording! Thanks a lot!
Really cool version of Neanderthal, it had really changed quite a bit since Rockefeller!
Haha, that is actually an old April's Fool Joke
Don't remember which year it was from, though….
Agree with Seattle P-naut. Motorpsycho is such a diverse band that people are bound to get attracted to different aspects of their music. And because of their frequent stylistic changes, MP always attracts new fans while some bail out (in a revolving door-kinda way)
Me, I love the majority of it, too.
Hi, thanks for the setlist. I think the old song from 1991 with Snah on vocals actually is called On A Plate or Leslie's Vest. Was it this one they played? Check out a Youtube-video of it here.
Good to see the band got a good reception
Murcia setlist, according to setlist-scan on Facebook (thx to Antonio):
– Hogwash
– On A Plate
– Riding The Tiger
– Starhammer —> The Wheel —> Starhammer
– Coalmine Pony
– Neanderthal
– You Lied
– Sparks
– High Time
– Hallucifuge
– Go To California
– Mountain
– Nothing To Say
NOTE: The order of the encores is uncertain, because there were multiple encore-choices listed on the setlist (Black 2 Comm and Diana were also listed, but apparently omitted)
Barcelona setlist (according to a scanned setlist on Facebook, thx to Albert)
Nevermind, correct setlist posted just below…
Ah ok. Thanks for the info!
Found a nice preview for the Murcia concert here
And here's the magic  of Google Translate:
Tonight begins the Motorpsycho awaited tour of our country, which made only four concerts. Accustomed to playing before thousands of people in other European nations, its status unknown in our country, where his records are not, gives us the chance to enjoy nearly unclassifiable rock these Norwegians and their impressive live more than 20 years tradition. One of the quotes will be in room 12 & half of Murcia, also accompanied by the sizzling Schwarz.
You engrossed in a multitude of praise for his extensive and varied discography and in the goodness of its staging, but before a special occasion like this I preferred to give the floor to some of his followers and flipping a clear and simple question: Why you should not miss Motorpsycho concert?
René Esquer (Pinchadiscos Hypocrites): "Because it is rock Champions League because it is the best antidote to Easter, because the end of the world is near and it is probably the only chance we have to see them live … in Seriously, it is one of the best rock bands in the world. "
Antonio Tomás (# Fo): "For whatever kind of music you like, Motorpsycho have made at least one great song like that will leave you picueto."
José ÃÂngel Gómez (October): "Because we enjoy in a place with an amazing sound and optimum capacity to be well at ease. Pop-Rock-Western-Progressive-Jazz … and a lot of psych!"
Larry Sandoval (Student Larry): "If you like to be combed at a concert, this is a good time. Moreover, almost certainly not going to see them again in this land, at least in a small enclosure. We smell his shampoo melenazas. "
Paco Larrosa (12 & a half, La YeserÃÂa): "They are one of the best European bands of the past 20 years, because they are amazing live, because throughout his career have only once come to Spain, because they touch Schwarz openers and finally, because I do not want anyone to tell it and I pricked the conscience for years for not going. "
Angel Perni (October): "To enjoy and Hyenas!"
Ah ok. Then I'm not sure what they mean about "Ainnar'n"
Hallucifuge, it is then.
Yeah, it is. So it could be maybe The Other Fool or The Other Other Fool.
Or it could be something entirely different
As stated earlier in the thread:
– Bombproof – Leipzig '10
– Loneliness – Haarlem '09
– Wishing Well – Milan '09
– Landslide – Dresden '08
– KDH – Cologne '09
– The Alchemyst – Bremen '08
Yeah, The Visitant is basically a very bland, inferior version of ICU (Boinganoid) imho. The b-side however, the cover of Eagle's Son is pretty damn good.
A little bit of nitpicking: The original version of Wishing Well is in fact from the Starmelt EP
