So.. What's the plan? Will there be pre-concert beer? Was it just the alcohol speaking on saturday, Otherfool?:)

haha, I see I didn't make myself clear. He's a couple of years older than me, so I doubt he's seen Wearing Yr Smell in recent years. However, when we discuss MP concerts, I always brag about having seen TGC twice, while he says "well, they've played Flick and/or Wearing every single time I've seen them, so I'm good"

Missed out on Drug Thing the last time they played it here in Bergen(2008) because of an exam. Still bitter.

I too count myself fairly lucky when it comes to what songs I've seen them play, and I saw MP for the first time at Øya in 2006. However, I have a friend who always misses out on the shows where they play The Golden Core, while I miss out every time he gets to see Wearing Yr Smell(best song IMO. Saw it at Øya'10, so didn't vote for it) and Flick of the Wrist.

I had already forgotten what I had voted for, so I had to look up the e-mail I sent you:)

While there aren't too many surprises, I had thought there were more than me who held the lyrics from Trapdoor in high regard.

I'm honored to get the best vote as well!(Motorhead Mama)

All in all, great initiative and good job! Let's do this again when the boys have released a couple more albums!

Well, of course I'm going! Had hoped they would play at Verftet again, so I could leave my appartment just minutes before the concert.

..come to think of it, Kjøtt is not too far away either..

If I'm not mistaken, Snah put p90 pickups in many of his guitars before the 2008 tour. I remember him using the p90 gold top at Roskilde that year.

Thanks for showing support! I did not know any of the victims or their families, but it still goes deep. My thoughts go out to the victims, families, friends and the people of Norway. It all feels so very very unreal and I still can't believe it really happened.

Here's how I experienced it. You don't have to read it or anything. I just really want to get it of my chest. Norway is such a small country, and tho I don't know any of the victims, it feels so close.

I spent the weekend at Malakoff Rock Festival in Nordfjordeid, where MP played two years ago. I was there with my brother and friends, and there was a fantastic mood all over the festival site. One of my brother's friends was in his tent watching the tour de france on his phone when he suddenly stumbled out of his tent and uttered "there has been an explosion in Regjeringskvartalet!". Everything stopped. Terrorist bombings? In Norway? It couldn't be! It then hit me. Regjeringskvartalet. I used to live about 3-400m away from there just two months ago and used it as a shortcut to everything a few times a week. I was there just a month ago, looking up at the very building that had been bombed. I'm not trying to play a victim here and say "oh, I could have been there! Give me your sympathy", cause I am not. It was just so absurd. I had lived just a few blocks from there and felt so safe all the time, and now innocent people were being bombed. Then another thought hit me. My sister. She lives on the same street as the bombings, about 200 metres up. I looked at my brother and said "what about our sister?". He calmed me, telling me she was not in town(thank god!).

For the next hour or so I talked to people about it and we came to the conclusion that we would take this seriously, talk to eachother about it if we felt we had to, but we wouldn't let it ruin our weekend. I know this sounds so selfish and ignorant, but believe me, you could feel the sadness all over the festival all weekend. We just wouldn't let the horrible actions of an as of yet unknown man or group stop us from having a good time with good friends.

I did not get much updates till saturday morning when I woke up. One of my brother's friends stood outside my tent talking to someone, and said something about "almost 100 dead". I got out, went to meet some friends, and they showed me the newspaper and told me what had happened at utøya and that it was all done by a single person. It's fucked up. I called my mother and my sister. I could hear they both had been crying. My sister, who had just got back to Oslo, said that the whole town had gone silent and that armed soldiers were patrolling just outside her apartment. It's surreal to be at a festival with good friends, trying to focus on positivity, when you can't block out the fact that 13 year olds were being hunted down and shot on an island while you were watching Kråkesølv play.

I just found out that one of the victims studied to be a nurse just a two minute walk from my house, and probably is a friend of some of my co-workers(I work at a mental institution, and many students from that school do as well).

Like I said, this is just me getting my thoughts of my chest. I don't want sympathy, I am NOT a victim. It just shows how, in a small country like Norway, everyone is affected by this. Everyone has a connection to it in some way. We're all mourning today.

To all psychonauts out there, be it victims, family, friends or those who don't have a connection to it, please take care of eachother. This happened in the relatively small and safe city that is Oslo, and it happened out of the blue. One of the survivors wrote "this day can't get any better" on twitter just hours before being hunted by this madman.

Take care of eachother and stand together. This is sad to all of us. This is a tragedy.

I've seduced two of my wives(a telecaster and an acoustic) since then and soon my third wife'll join the family(p-bass), and I want to put them to use. Can't really sing, tho…

Feel, Wearing Yr Smell, Nerve Tattoo, Watersound, Manmower, Painting the Night Unreal… I'm yet to decide what song I'll eventually record.

I agree with those requesting another album of 11-12 SONGS. I play guitar myself, so I do understand Kenneth wants to do what he does best, but to me MP has not been that interesting lately. Don't misunderstand, I enjoy CotF and HMF, but I wish I could go see MP touring a new album and hear riffs, traktorbass and some heavy 4/4 drumming. The same goes for their albums. I want to hear them do something like Blissard again, because that's what comes to my head when I think of MP. It's those albums that got me in to MP. I put on a record by MP because I want to listen to MP and not some balding guest musician from some jazz orchestra play the trumpet, xylophone, theremin or whatever.(If you didn't get it already, I'm not known for being a fan of jazz music) You could say I miss Geb sometimes.

That said, I think Kenneth is an outstanding drummer(especially live) and LLM is one of my fav. records from the last ten years. I look forward to the upcoming record and I would never say anything stupid like "Kenneth's influence killed Motorpsycho".

If you're interested, I know at least two of those standing behind him are friends of my ex.

And I saw on facebook that Traktorbass is on to something, unless he's being trolled.

Great concert and great crowd(except that annoying guy who kept popping up between me and traktorbass). Nice to meet some of you guys, and it sucks I had to leave immediately after the show. I’ll definately join in for a gathering next time they play in Oslo.
