Selve trykket er identisk, så advarselen har samme ordlyd ja. Det kan jo være at den med struktur cover er den Italienske utgaven og den med glatt cover er amerikansk, men i og med at labelen har forskjellig nyanse tyder det på to forskjellige opplag presset fra samme matrix. Glemte å nevne at den med struktur cover har Italiensk SIAE merke klistret på innercoveret både på mitt eksemplar og eksemplaret som er registrert på Discogs.
Covrene er laget med identisk trykk, men den som jeg tror er et første opplag har struktur i kartongen, og er litt tykkere enn den andre. Fargen på kartongen er også noe gulere. Den har også med en insert fra plateselskapet i postkortstørrelse som er trykket på samme type kartong. Det ser også ut til at denne er utrustet med hvitt uforet innercover. Den andre, som jeg fikk i går har helt glatt 160g eller 200g papir med akkurat samme trykk men uten insert. Den er heller ikke levert med innercover. Det er jeg sikker på fordi den ble byttet fra en kar som hadde flere eks liggende. Når det gjelder selve plata, så er de identiske med nøyaktig samme matrix og label. Man kan imidlertid ane et noe mattere og gulere trykk på den ene i forhold til den andre.
Jeg er ganske sikker på at singelen er presset i to omganger hvor da andreopplaget er gjort noe enklere. Det er vel også sannsynlig at man først har presset 500 eks, og deretter supplert med nye 500 eks når de første var borte. Jeg har nå lastet opp noen bilder på Discogs og lagt inn info om dette.
Fantastic ThorEgil. I have checked my 3 different versions Rune2009, Rune2015 and Stickman2015. It seems like somebody at the pressing plant have written T1 in the runout of the pressing form. Even if it's the same matrix steel original used the second pressing (2015), both Rune and Stickman have this T1 writing in the runout. Rune2009 don't, and I think we can assume that Stickman2009 pressing is identical with the Rune2009. A microscopic difference between the Stickman2009 and Stickman2015 pressings found, and I will no longer go for a merge on this one. I've got a record to buy
The problem is to distinguish the 2009 version from the 2015 repress. The matrix, label code and barcode seems to be identical, but it might possible be a slight difference in the matrix runout which on both version have stamped B967614-01 A1 MK but on the 2015 version have T1 (with the 1 wrong way) written by hand. Is this the same on the 2009 version?
1.4.1. Discogs allows the entering of all versions of a release, such as white labels, reissues, different artwork, format variations, colored vinyl, different manufacturers etc. In order for these to be accepted, you must provide enough information to distinguish the different versions of a release. (Discogs Guidelines)
I think different artwork will be judged the same as coloured vinyl on Discogs. Each single has different colors from the other variants. This single was intended to have 15 variants, and I think this should reflect how it is registered on Discogs.
By the way… Fixing to die has 8 different submissions on Discogs.
OK. The 2001 and the 2010 version are merged on Discogs. When a record got an identical second run this should be mentioned in the notes only. There should be no additional submission when it's impossible to tell the difference. It seems that several Discogs members have discussed this issue and came to the conclusion that there were a second run some years ago, but it was identical to the 2001 version.
Well, I'm trying to sort out if there is a 2010 repress, and if such a repress have differences to the 2001 first pressing. Discogs have two submissions of the record, the 2001 release and a 2010 repress. If all versions of Phanerothyme are identical, there should be just one submission of this record. Both submissions are in lack of images and information.

Ok. Seems like I have two 2001 records then. What about the 2010 release? Anybody got the matrixes for the 2010 version?

Well. Discogs corrected for first machine numbered edition of Timothys Monster.
But where does the 3324-1-Ao B272998-01 A1 matrix belong. Are there anybody out there with a hand numbered Timothys monster with number below 2000? If so, what's your number and matrix?
