For me it’s a very quiet album.
I just get a late vibe – as in it hasn’t arrived yet!
Video for W.C.A. for those who haven’t seen it yet:
@thetfordblue: Ouch! I feel your pain!
I know they lose money when they come to the UK – and that problem predates Brexit. The English Channel probably has something to do with it. They tour here for love, not money. However, money is tight at their level in the business (hate calling it that), and it is probably getting tighter. Tomas is on record as describing his lamentable, financial state of affairs. I suspect the paucity of support on these shores hardly helps the situation. If only we could get across to more British people. So many who would love them are missing out and they just don’t know it.
Still, having said all that, the announcement does cite “unforeseen circumstances”, whereas the foregoing is always foreseeable. There does appear to be a will to fulfil these dates, so let’s remain hopeful. These things often work out for the best anyway – sometimes in unforeseen ways!
That’s a real shame! I hope it isn’t down to poor sales. All I can see on the website is that it has disappeared from the What’s On page. I wonder whether other dates are going to be affected? It would be useful to know.
@timtunes: Where did you see that?
Have a great gig! And spread the word up there!
Is he definitely the permanent new guy rather than just sitting in? I have gone back to look again at Kanaan Live at Amper Tone – I really enjoyed watching that last year or whenever. Looking at that, I feel very positive and excited! He will really bring some energy!

Not sure Gebhardt would have attempted that fill at 2.51, but I do know that Kenneth and Tomas would have come out of it bang on the nail.
Harsh?
Ooh! That paywall site is going to be useful! Thanks!
@Emily: nicoot provided them. Go back a page.

I’m just reflecting that Patterns represents quite a departure in the singing style, enhanced by a very interesting production job (and I guess there is a bit of that Dungen retro feel in that production). Doubtless, someone will be able to cite a similar style somewhere in the back catalogue! Anyway, I like it!
Patterns sounds absolutely delicious! Can’t wait for the album!
Is Snah performing Lieder or did the Langoustine à la Nage and Bronze Fennel disagree with him?
