Yeah, a new album would be a treat. In fact, I’d be kinda surprised if they didn’t already have a bunch of songs lined up.
Thanks for the recordings, traktorbass! Unfortunately I only managed to snatch TGC before the links expired.
Not that strange when you consider the rules: http://www.tono.no/Andre+sider/Hurtigmeny/Edvard-prisen.
In short, this year’s award is for works first released or performed during 2009.
Also, TONO has attached a “one time only”-clause to the award, so there’ll be no further glory next year.
@ Rolf & otherdemon:
Nerds take note: the part from Innersfree also made an appearance in The Wheel during the Starclub Dresden 1995 concert – whether due to error or careful calculation, we will (probably) never know.
All the recent shows have also been uploaded to dime (dimeadozen.org). Of course, that’s a torrent site as well, so I guess it’s no more use than Motortrades.
Viva España then, guys?
So… the Pirate Bay recording is gone, but I came across this one recently: http://www.torrentreactor.net/torrents/5583920/Motorpsycho-Driv-Tromsø-29-04-2010. Unfortunately, I’ve been stuck at 47,5% – if anyone else here has downloaded it it’d be cool if you could seed it long enough for the rest to have a bite.
The quality IS crappy though, as dadgad indicates.
Yeah, Starless would be a treat.
Which makes me wonder; just how many of the cover songs that they’ve done live have also been recorded in a studio environment? Seems to me that they had so easy access to studio facilities that it’s not unlikely that they recorded a lot more than what’s been made available. Here’s hoping for a “Motorpsycho plays other people” record some time in the future.
Great news! Elephant9 are brilliant in their own right, and MP is in a real groove lately. Guess I’ll have to schedule a visit to London some time during November.
Please don’t elaborate.
Hey, Mad Sun… did not see that one coming.
This might change, of course, if there was actual demand in record shops in Prague. Just sayin’.
Great vids, thanks a lot!
Love the Hallowed Be Thy Name ending on GT.
